The Thing goes out with a bang! It looks like Lope’s gamble did something! What a deafening roar, let’s hope there’s some bite to that bark! I was giving a slight nod to the conclusion of the Lovecraft story ‘The Dunwich Horror’ as the heroes of that tale battles their foe!
I opted to go with a full page splash for this one, to drive home the action! I also abandoned giving it the full color treatment and gives it a monochromatic look. does it work for ya?
I was at MICE 2014 this past weekend and had a great time meeting fans and fellow artists! at some point i need to write about it!
