Day 11 of my Halloween Monster Face project and I’ve did a doodle of another classic monster– the Werewolf! I’m not totally happy with this one, so expect a few more of these before I’m done! If you haven’t gathered I have a soft spot for ‘wolf people’! Part of this experiment is to try and do these quickly, with tradition ink when I can! So wish me luck as I try and make it to 31!
In my theme of classic movie monsters I just had to do a Gill Man! My Halloween Monster Face project is for 31 days so I’m sure you’ll see more than one take on these creepy classics!
I decided to do a gender swap with the Phantom of the Opera so I came up with – Madame Phantom! Horribly disfigured she wrecks vengeance of those who wronged her! As I’ve said numerous times, I’m a huge fan of the classic monsters, so be sure I’ll be doing lots more takes of them this Halloween season!
Well for today I decided on the popular monster right now – Zombies! A Zombie is perfect for Halloween! I did something different too and scanned in a marker sketch and ‘live traced’ it in Adobe Illustrator. That always makes thing a tag wonky looking but I though it fit. What do you think?
Today I did a Scarecrow, a very scary image if you ask me, perfect for Halloween! Just standing in the middle of a field … Wait! Out of the corner of my eye – did it move?! After I drew this I noticed the straw looks a bit like a crown, kinda reminded me of the Scarecrow in the OZ books!
